Saint’s Alp Teahouse

Hailing from Hong Kong, bubble tea abounds at this teahouse. Credited with bringing the bubble tea concept to Hong Kong, Saint’s Alp Teahouse has since expanded into an international franchise, boasting at least two locations in the NYC area. Though take out is available, if you choose to take a seat the large selection of teas are served in fun mugs and glasses – regular milk teas with tapioca are served up like milk shakes. Saint’s Alp prides itself on the texture of its teas as well as the flavors. Each tea is smooth and complex in taste and has a half-inch layer foam and crushed ice at the top. Their tapioca pearls, made from a combination of sweet potato and tapioca starch, are always chewy and never hard or sticky. Whether you want to sit and enjoy your bubble tea or you want to take it to go, consider Saint’s Alp Teahouse next time you’re in the East Village, Williamsburg or Hong Kong.
