Yes: vegetarians can be foodies, too. They can be adventurous eaters who travel around the world, excited about the prospect of experiencing a new culture through local cuisine. They can be interested in chef profiles and fancy culinary techniques. They want to know about the latest trend, and how it can be altered to suit their diet. They want to try the new, hip restaurant or bar and see what the buzz is all about. And yes: they want interesting recipes they can try out at home. Veggiewala is the resource that aims to provide you these insights and more, whether you’re a vegetarian, veggie-curious, or just a foodie looking to explore a different perspective.

I think it’s a great idea. I am from the Boston area. I would like to know about good vegetarian restaurants in the Boston area along with your nice recipes.
I love this idea of veggiewala. It is often chellege to find good vegitarian food when you are travelling. It is good to try new recipies @home. keep up the good work.
I’m excited about this site and I think you have addressed the concerns of many who look to find quality, good tasting food that caters to their dietary concerns… Rock on!

Looks great! I’m so happy to see my fellow foodie bloggers doing great things…keep it up!
I can imagine how difficult being vegetarian (not in terms of being but finding good food)can be. I have many friends who are vegetarian and often face similar problems. A very good concept indeed!

I am not a vegetarian, but I definitely put myself under the “foodie looking to explore a different perspective” umbrella! Will try the Pistachio and Rose Cookies recipe soon!
